Santosha is a Sanskrit word meaning "contentment." It is the practice of being grateful for each moment of our lives.

"From contentment comes supreme happiness."

-English translation of Yoga Sutra II.41 from Light on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by B.K.S. Iyengar

The mission of Santosha Yoga and Wellness is to make yoga accessible wherever you are on your journey, so that you can find your own true happiness.

Jen Price

Years ago, I first turned to yoga for active recovery from a physically demanding running schedule and for a way to calm my mind from the daily stresses of being a classroom teacher in Baltimore City.  As I practiced over the years, my love for yoga grew, and with it came a sense of self-love and gratitude for the world. I felt myself becoming more patient, compassionate and kind in learning that we all want the same thing out of life: happiness.

I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2017 at Pilgrimage of the Heart in San Diego, California. The yoga classes I offer provide techniques to calm the mind, focus on the breath and proper physical alignment to ensure a safe practice while cultivating your own sense of gratitude for this life.

Jen is RYT® 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) through Yoga Alliance. She is CPR and AED certified and has liability insurance for teaching yoga.
